Often arriving just before Christmas, these Bluebills will follow the ice formation, only migrating as far south as there is open ice. Great sport if you like hunting in below freezing temps and usually only on the Great Lakes in the US. They fly low to the water and are very quick. The drawback is they are fish eaters & taste it if overcooked.
I found one on a near-by river, a strange site.So, since I am learning to play with digital editing I made it a flock.
